This Months Flavour...
It pornographic and it involves MONKEYS! So it must be good... its Pornographic Monkey!
We love the name and the music is great to. The band is a four piece that produce a combination of catchy guitar riffs joined by the melodic vocals, meaty bass and superb drumming... if fact you can here them for yourself if you go to www.mp3.com/pornographic_monkey
The MP3 site is very popular, so go and download their tunes and jump on the Pornographic Monkey wagon!
The band are set to be playing the Little Civic on the 7th June as a part of the battle of the bands, so if you are in the area go and see them!

UXFEST BANDS WANT YOU
Don't be disapointed if you can't get to be Blue Dogs Band of the month... if you think that you have got what it takes then why not send your demo to the organisers of the Uxfest - the metal/ punk underground DIY festival.
At the moment they are on the look-out for bands to appear at this year's event, that is now in its 6th year. Uxfest 2001 featured 29 bands over 10 years - raised £1,500 for London based charity "Ace of Clubs" which offers shelter, food, medical help, classes and advice to the homeless. previously featured bands have included Lostprophets, Onedice, Brutal Deluxe, Lightyear, and Anal Beard.
Bands for Uxfest 02 should send a demo to Uxfest,169 Swakeleys Road,Ickenham, Middlesex, UB10 8DN or email Uxfest@aol.com for details. CDs must be received by the end of April, and the line up will be announced in May.
